Born and raised in (Sicily), Giuseppe honed his skills through vast experiences he captured in photographs and heartfelt stories that had significant impact on him as he filmed their emotive content. He became interested in filmmaking at the age of fourteen inspired by iconic like Luchino Visconti’s ‘The Leopard’, or “Cinema Paradiso” by Oscar Winner Giuseppe Tornatore, “Wings of Desire” by Wim Wenders, and Blow-Up’ by Michelangelo Antonioni. After extensive travel throughout Europe and other parts of the globe, he eventually landed in New York, where for a while he studied English and then dabbled in teaching film classes. He realized he didn’t need a diploma to start his own company, Art Motion Pictures, a media production company that brings to life the light, truth, and vulnerability in all aspects of our daily lives. Giuseppe special strength is with documentaries because they tell a real story about real people in a dynamic, ever-changing world.  He creates a relationship with my subject and characters, achieving this by combining technical and artistic development with insightful humanism instinctively captures raw emotion in whatever project he is working on. Award winning producer, director and cinematographer, Giuseppe filmmaking work was shown at has been shown in major international film festivals: Tribeca with the feature movie, Blackout , and his documentaries which include Ward 54, Venice Film Festival, Dante Ferretti, Production Designer, featuring Martin Scorsese and Julie Taymor, at MOMA. He also collaborated with the photography company Magnum Photos, filming a series of documentaries on iconic masters such as Elliott Erwitt, Bruce Gilden, Steve McCurry and Thomas Hoepker.
